Taking multiple pregnancy tests
Anyone else early in the first trimester take pregnancy tests, just to "make sure" everything is OK? I feel like taking one every few days until our first obgyn appt in two weeks.... Am I the only weirdo that does this? LOL

I took a lot of tests in the beginning... i have a history of chemicals so it helped to realize this probably wasnt a chemical... but thats all it does lol, it doesnt mean everything is ok, so i stopeed after my 2nd beta.

I did the test early kind 5 days before I was due to get aunt flow. Between then and the day I was due to get it, I took 10 tests ! Yep, I was that crazy lol.

I took 4 to confirm LOL and took one last night because my heartburn was better LOL. My husband was laughing at me. We are telling family over the next 3 days so I wanted to make sure.... I also need to stop googling!

i took a bunch early on but once i had blood tests i stopped. honestly theres nothing the stick is going to tell you that will guarantee things are going fine. people miscarry and will still get +HPTs for literally months until the beta goes down.

Yes I did that! Since I first tested 5 days before my friend was due and got dark blue lines I just wanted to make sure the follow week and the week after that that I still saw those bright blue lines

I can't even tell you how many I have taken...I've had 2 positive beta's and I'm still taking them...maybe I'll stop after my next beta...lol

I was pretty laid back with the testing...took the 1st intial test and then a 2nd test the next day just to make sure the first test wasn't wrong! No other tests between then and 6 weeks when i went to the OB for spotting and they confirmed the pregnancy in the office.

I took 2 and then POAS at the doctor's office and that was it. I havent had blood work done yet, and i wish I could so that I could see how things were going! 1st sonogram is Monday. Glad to know I'm not the only one who POAS a few times!

Lol yup my husband always said it was the HCG urine test to make sure it was increasing lol. I just loved seeing thos elines getting darker and darker

I got about 5 as well.... I got the BFP on the second on and then I took 4 more. So 6 in total. I had them and figured by the next time I have another kid (maybe) that they would be bad. lol Made me feel not so crazy!

Same. AND I was seeing an RE at least weekly for the beginning of my pregnancy.
I'm 20w and about 2 weeks ago I was cleaning the bathroom and found an old wondfo under our bathroom sink that I had apparently taken at 17dpo.

But I totally get the temptation.
I took millions of tests because they were negative but I didn't have my period. I finally got a postive one when AF was 3 weeks late, and then I just took 1 more to be sure, and went to my OB within a week.

With the first one I took NINE before I went for my first appointment.
In my defense, I didn't see the Dr. until 9 weeks ......just the way he does things.
With the second, I took five .......I was a pro by that time
