Taking my last trip to BRU today..

Is there anything I should pick up for Spencers arrival? Anything you needed the first few weeks after baby came home?

Cloth diapers....the cheap white ones. They come in 12 packs I think.

Best thing ever- I would line the changing table with them so I wouldn't have to change the sheet every time.

I love the lap pads. I put one on the changing table to protect the cover.

ITA! I bought big ones for the changing pad cover and small ones for spit up. I had a few when DD was born, but quickly decided I needed more.

ME TOO!!! The disposible ones.....by especially baby or something like that. I give them at EVERY shower I go to. They were so handy especially having a boy!

I absolutely recommend this too! They are a lifesaver and I still use them all the time!

Also, make sure you have 3 sheets and 3 changing pad covers. What typically happens for me is that one is on the crib/changing table, one is in the wash and that is when we will have a blow out! Even a cheapy one as backup!!

Re: Taking my last trip to BRU today..

If you are breastfeeding, a pump of some sort - DH went a bought a $40 handpump at Walgreens the night we brought DD home - she wouldn't latch on and I was engorged. You can choose not to open it until you need it and then return it if you don't. It would have saved us some stress if we had already had it.
