Taking Newborn To Church For Easter?

I was debating whether I should go to church tomorrow and take the baby. It's Easter so I would like to go, however, I'm concerned about the germ factor since she will not even be a week old. What would you do?

Can you sit somewhere away from the crowd?
Perhaps put her in a stroller and put netting over it and sit at the end of a pew.

First, Congrats. I missed your annoucement with being so busy.

I have to reiterate what the others have said, I wouldn't. We are skipping services and the big family Easter dinner this year and are just having something small at home.

All peds have told me no enclosed spaces (stores, church, etc.) for the first month.

I honestly wouldn't either. Especially with this wacky weather lately.

Thanks for all of the replies! I decided not to take her. There is always next year :)

I posted my announcement on the PG board. Stony Brook has wireless so I was able to get online at the hospital! I had her a month early and she's a little peanut Chat Icon
