Talk about a bad day...Q at bottom
Two days ago was awful!
First, DS is going through a growth spurt so he was attached to me for 24 hours (I didn't realize it at the time). I drank hot coacoa and he's really sensitive to milk so now he's screaming from a tummy ache. I'm an idiot.
Then, I was on the phone with a LLL person for help related to above and my cat has a SEIZURE she hasn't had one in 1 1/2 years...
Then, our heat goes out The guy fixed it and it goes out again.
Now this kicker - my work called me in the middle of all this to say I had to work the next day at 5 wks PP. Needless to say I wasn't nice about it. And I didn't go.
At least it all happened at once! And I didn't even cry - just used the F word a lot
Here's the problem - with all the insanity we let him stay with us for 2 nights and now he can't sleep in his crib. How do we get him back?! He's still got a tummy ache so he's sleeping in my lap now but once he's better (prob tomorrow) I want him in the crib.
thanks!

I don't have any really good advice, but I am sorry to hear that you have had a crappy time!!!
I say just let him sleep with you if it makes everyone have a better nights sleep!

I completely agree. I got some really good advice recently. The moderater/nurse at a new moms group I was in said that the first 4 months are like "living in the trenches" and we, as moms, should do whatever it takes to get through it. I would let him sleep with you until you feel he's better. (as long as you're sleeping ok that way.)
I'm sorry that you had such an awful day. I hope it's better very soon.

take it one day at a time...I know about tummy aches because my son is so sensitive.
Last night I gave him spinach and I was up for an hour patting his back and rocking him...mind you he weighs about 25 lbs now.
Do what you have to do until he feels better and don't worry!
Hope you all feel better soon.

Problem is DH and I can't sleep like that - we are both sleepwalker/talkers and are so afraid to hurt him. We've tossed the cat across the room many times but she obviously doesn't care...
