Talk to me about Kitchen Appliances!
We are building a home and went to look at kitchen appliances last night. My DH initially wanted all viking, but we are hearing that my not be the way to go anymore.
We are allocating $10,000 for the fridge, stove and dishwasher. So please tell me your thoughts about what brand of appliances we should get and why!! Also I think my dh would like them all to be the same "brand" once we pick one.

Look in to KitchenAid.
We are getting this range and we just saw it in person at my aunt's house yesterday (she got the one with no knobs, all digital) and it's gorgeous! She also got all the other matching KitchenAid appliances and they look great.

Make sure they are Energy Star...And keep the receipts b/c it's a tax write-off.

I looked into viking as well and so far I am hearing no good from the consumer reports I think I am going with wolf/subzero combo

This was our exact concern about viking. We researched subzero/wolf last night and it looks like a very good possibility, I just am wondering about cost.
