Not sure what Huntington's Main Street looks like, but Patchogue does have a Main Street with some shops on it. Not fancy shops, but they do have some regular businesses on the street. It's not necessarily where you would make a day of shopping.

Patchogue has a downtown main street but you definitely cannot compare it to Huntington.

definitely has a Main Street and they are trying to revitalize the village - but it's a long way from Huntington

When I was looking in Suffolk, we were looking in Dix Hills, Melville, South Huntington, Northport and east Northport.

I am in South Huntington/Melville Boarder and I love it  . There are so many homes for sale in the areas listed above which are all great. If you want the Real Estate Agent I used who knows the area very well, FM me.

How about West Babylon and the surrounding areas? Right now there is a ton for sale in West Bab... I've lived there for 3 years and it's great! And the main street in Babylon is adorable!

If you take the train from Ronkonkoma its not that bad.
