Talk to me about some good Family Costume ideas
I'm thinking Alice in Wonderland. DD as Alice, DS as tweedle dee, DH as mad hatter and me as Queen of Hearts.
Or Toy Story. DD can be whatever she wants (several choices) DS as a baby alien, DH can be potato head and I'll pick from what she doesn't want, maybe Jessie
Wizard of Oz would be good but she doesn't know that movie at all so I don't think she'll be interested.

When DS was an infant we were Blue's Clues. DD was Blue, I was the Handy Dandy notebook (I made it out of oaktag and wired red ribbon), DS was Steve (green striped rugby and tan pants) and I made DH a t-shirt with a pawprint on it so he was a clue, but he couldn't get off.
I've seen families that were all M&Ms, all crayons.

Last year DD was a Giants cheerleader and DH & I wore Giants jerseys & sweatshirts. Very easy & DD looked so cute with her pigtails and pompoms.

We sort of did that year before last. DD was an elephant and DH and I found these safari hats and dressed in kakhi and pretended we were on expedition. It was cute!

We were thinking of doing something like this also...DH and I went to the San Diego zoo last year and they sold a cute infant zoo keeper costume in their gift shop so we want to dress DS up as the zoo keeper and DH and I will be zoo animals.

we're doing toy story 
Last year, we put the baby in a hippo suit and DH and I wore brown/tan clothes with zookeeper hats and badges! I tied baby keys to my belt loop and everything  .. that was a hit at the party we went to!

DH wants to be Fred & Wilma Flintstone and make DD Pebbles
DD wants to be Snow White, so I was thinking we could be dwarfs!
You could also all be 50's rockers...great kids' poodle skirt / boy 50's rocker costumes out there!

just saw this!
It was so easy, too. I'd just had surgery on 10/28, so I had to be comfortable. It worked! And my little hippo rocked it...
