talk to me about some GREAT small toys for a 12 month old
he got mostly big toys for his birthday...he has enough ride-ons we can all take one out for a spin  but nothing really small enough to throw in his carry on for the flight.
he still loves his baby einstein beat box, but what else can I get that will hold his attention and that won't make our poor neighbors in coach want to jump out of the plane?

DH loves any remote controls or toy phones. Pretty much anything that has buttons, makes some noise and has lights. We take a remote Elmo with us everywhere.
Maybe small books too and bring movies and TV shows.

DS just got the Leapfrog Laptop, or leaptop. He loves anything he can push buttons on and you can customize it at leapfrog.com
he also got an animal magnet set from leapfrog which is cute.
we also have the leapfrog Scout doll which you customize with the kids name online. His paws are the buttons. DS will press those buttons all day long. Scout is really cute.

I have no clue.
Loey likes anything that's NOT a toy (like my cell phone).
Is there anything Luce likes specifically? Like, Loey loves turning pages, so we got him these little book toys (electronic) that read a story...

Do you have an iphone, ipad or itouch? Those are great for trips. DH downloaded a bunch of apps for DS and he loves it on the plane and car rides. We watched videos, read ibooks, and DS played with a keyboard, fish pond, etc.

My DS loves anything with buttons that he can push.
He has a toy vtech phone that he plays with when we're in the car.
He also plays with a toy that attaches to the tray on the high chair.
We also got him a small bag of plastic bath toys. They are small enough for him to hold on to and chew on.
How about getting him some small soft books with things that he can touch? My DS likes these kinds of books, as well as the plastic bath books.

Did you get the Bee bop band yet?
They carry it in BJ's - it doesn't come w/ the xylophone anymore - choking hazard I think.
DS loved it and STILL loves it.
