Target brand formula
I am curious to know if anyone uses this formula. It is 1/2 the price of Enfamil or Similac and I heard that it has the same ingredients. I like the price but I'm not sure of the quality.

Re: Target brand formula
I started using it when my DD was 10 months old. No issues at all. And so much cheaper. We used Similac before that, and I believe the ingredients were compared to Enfamil, but it's like a Coke or Pepsi thing, and no issues.

Re: Target brand formula
I used it, never had a problem. It's the same exact product as the name brand at half the price. Loved the savings!

Why doesn't he recommend it? Did you bring the can in for him and have him read the ingredients?

Re: Target brand formula
I used it for DD and she had no problems on it. It is the EXACT same thing as Enfamil.

Re: Target brand formula
My cousin uses it and loves it. Personally I have not used it because i get enfamil pretty cheap at Costco. But, I have also wondered about the Kirkland (costco brand) formula. IT also has the same ingredients and is SO MUCH cheaper!

Re: Target brand formula
Used it for both DC's, saved over $1500 for the year... yes, that much! Target also has a generic for Gentlease.
FYI: Formulas are made by the pharmaceutical companies and doctors will endorse one or the other often depending upon what pharmaceutical rep. treats them better. (Same reason why formula is only $5 or so dollars a can in Europe)
Most peds. will not openly endorse a generic due to the above relationship. If you compare the ingredient label side by side it is exactly the same.
