Definitely buy them! My DS's 1st birthday theme was also Dr. Seuss.  I found so many things on E-bay. I actually had Dr. Seuss candy bar wrappers made and cute little Dr. Seuss coloring books made with his name, b-day etc. from a vendor on e-bay.

What's the worst that could happen ? You change the theme and save them for another party
I bought a bunch of clearance Halloween stuff at Michaels because DS's b-day is in October and I'm sure he will want a Halloween type party one of these years
