Target Glider Question
Hi ladies - I had originally ordered my Glider from Bellini and am waiting for it to come in. But, now after seeing all these posts on the Target Glider and it is less than half the price I am wondering if I should cancel the Bellini order and just get the Target one. My q's for you are...
Which model did you get? There seem to be a few options?
Can I look at it/try it in the store? (online it says online only?)
Is it sturdy enough?
Is it as comfortable as the higher priced ones?
TIA

Re: Target Glider Question
Which one are you interested in? If it says online only, you wont be able to try it out in the store.

Re: Target Glider Question
I registered for this one. They have it on display in Levittown - I thought it was really comfy. As of last night someone bought it for me too!

This is the one I got Glider
It got positive reviews from the Baby Bargains book as well as the Dutailer model I know BRU carries.
This one is not available in store. You can't test it out. I relied on what Baby Bargains said, the Target reviews and a couple of posts on here.
It's absoultely sturdy. I had my DH test it out and he was gliding away. Now my personal opinion the Dutailer glider I sat in at BRU I found to be a little more roomier and the arm rests were a little longer. I thought it was just as comfortable though. When I sat in the one I purchased through Target I never said man I wished I just went out and got the Dutailer one. The quality and the comfort is there.

Re: Target Glider Question
I got the Shermag one from Target also, in sage green.
I didn't go to a store to see if they had it, just took the word of the girls on this site who had posted.
I have to say it feels very sturdy to me. I used it for quite some time the night we put it together, and DH got in it as well and was gliding away... very comfortably!
I haven't really tried out any of the more expensive ones because I wasn't going to get one. I just took a leap of faith, trusted the girls on this site, and am very pleased!

I got the same one, in the harmony/oatmeal color...and I agree with the above.
There is a slight difference in the width of the seat, but I find my (much less expensive) Target glider super comfy, and I've never regretted not spending almost 3 times as much!!
