when is the big target toy sale?? Do anyone know? i remember I bought last year some toys for christmas around august or september but I dont remember exactly when.

It was last friday, they called it Black Friday...there weren't alot of toys online for sale though

I went this friday and got a few things on clearence. I *think* we missed the big sale - I think that's in July and I just got some 'leftovers'

I'm guessing it will be this week. Right now they have a TON of stuff 30% off, but I have a feeling this Thursday they'll mark it to 50% and so on.
To be honest, for some reason last year seemed so much better (the stuff).

My Target had most items clearanced to 30% off set way back in the seasonal aisles last week. The selection was not nearly as good as last year. I am going to try to hit it again this week without kids so I can really go through it.

It should be this Wed-going into Thursday.
IT happens every year, and Target always marks their toys down on Thursdays, but as its a lot, they sometimes start on Wed for their twice annual 75% off deal.
All the Targets by me are at 50% right now ...with just a select few things at 75%.
Last year it was on July 30th and then year before it the Thursday before that.
( yes I'm obsessed with this..Last year I saved over $800)
it will ALWAYS go to 75% off, its just a matter of time. And some things that are not even marked clearance right now will be....So the selection you see now doesnt mean thats all there is.

It's definitely coming very soon bc I recall buying stuff when my DH takes my kids camping and their trip is later this week, it's the same time every year.
I hate Target bc their sales are too enticing. I was in Walmart and they have a clearance aisle that is basically at a standstill - when you mark something down from 15.99 to 15.08, big deal. The evil Target forces me to shop, my DH doesn't get that.

I'm DYING for this sale, last year we got almost 3 carts full of stuff for about $200.
I was afraid I already missed it. I def. have to keep an eye open, might take a trip up there after work today.

I went to Setauket today after work and they had hardly anything too, and what they did have was like 30% off.  Last year on July 30th the sales were amazing (I remember b/c it was my bday and DH and I went out to lunch and then to Target).

So to answer my own question, yes and no. They still have the 30% off signs up, but some things were marked less when I scanned them. I got one toy for 75% off. We also got the Ride on/Walker Lion for 50% off.

I was there Tuesday and almost everyth ing was 50%? Don't go by the signs on the shelves...but the scanned prices...
And some also take loads of stuff into back to mark down....
