Tattoo Opinions Please :)
hey guys!
im planning on some ink and i wanted to get your opinions on which one i should do.....
a 1/4 sleeve
a 1/2 sleeve
a whole sleeve
.....i know not alot of people will like either, but if you had to choose.....

basically a half sleeve comes to your elbow while a quarter sleeve is like t-shirt length

i already know the top portion (basically it would take up 1/4 sleeve) is going to be a flash art old school rose on the outside
and then a swallow and anchor around
im getting the rose done in 2 weeks

personally, I say if you're gonna be a bear be a grizzly...go full. However I would do it a little at a time & *layer* the ink starting from the shoulder down.
Post some pics when you are done!
ETA: I do not think that a full-sleve is for everyone. I have a feeling though that if you are even considering it, that this is probably what you want to end up with eventually. You can build your tattoo over time & even take years to capture different stages & experiences in your life. Good luck

well i was leaning towards a half sleeve as it is.
i know what im going to get for the top half of that.
i agree that its good to do it in stages.

None of them on a women(sorry and I love tats) but if I had to choose -- 1/4 so you can cover it with a tee if you had too. Hubby has 1/4. Full sleeve screams TommyLee

I wouldn't get a whole sleeve at once. I say start with a quarter and then build from there. I like when people tattoo memories on their bodies if they're going to tattoo a big area, so each section would represent a memory of your life. Make sense? Plus a whole sleeve at once would probably hurt. No?  I agree with the other ladies; depends completely on what design you're planning to tattoo.

well im definatly going to only start at a 1/4 sleeve.....
beside from the fact that i need ideas it is $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ to get a full sleeve all at once.
i think ill just take it in small doses.
ill post pics each step of the way!
