TD Bank people..

Is anyone else having MAJOR problems with their accounts?

First off, our debit cards didn't work on Sunday, with no warning. I was on hold for 15 minutes for that one...

Then Monday, a debit we didn't debit appeared, then disappeared but that took a 30 minute hold time to talk to someone...

Those two things I could live with, I know they are updating, even though they said that it would be done by Sunday...

Now today (after NOT using our cards yesterday), we are MAJORLY overdrawn BECAUSE I have a direct deposit that was scheduled to go in and I have bills on automatic pay as well!!

So, I called this morning, was promised that it would be fixed by 2pm oh that was a 45 minute wait time....nope, isn't fixed, and I have a SERIOUS overdraft fee.

And NOW no one is even picking up the phone!! It says that the call can't be completed as dialed!!Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Oh I did just get thru and all their systems are down until 3.30.

We have had this account for 5 years and I am so flucking pizzzed right now

I just posted on the other thread.

But yes sunday was so embarassing at nordstrom, when my card was declined.
I called them and pleaded with them to make my card work, and there was nothing they could do.

the most frustrating thing in the world is not having access to your money.

Ok, I finally got someone who took care of everything, they are refunding any fees, and they pushed my direct deposit through (he said it was in the account, but it wasn't online)

So frustrating, but hopefully overwith!

What a dumb time to update your systems! The end of hte month and end of the quarter (as said by the rep I spoke to!)Chat Icon

I know I said that to my rep this am.

Why are you doing this the day 80% of ppl get paid/have automatic payments set up.

How did you get thru I can't even get the phone number to work.

Wow, I'm glad this was posted because I checked my account, shows no direct deposit which should be there. So I called a branch since the toll free number doesn't even work and she said it didn't even post. I know it's not a problem with MY employer. They better be refunding the fees of things that are supposed to hit today. I'm so mad. I'm glad I didn't go to the store and try to use my card!

Keep calling, I just kept hitting redial.

But I had to speak to someone to get it fixed, which DH was saying was messed up.

ETA-I will say he offered to refund fees, I didn't even have to ask

I finally got through after being on hold for 30 minutes! was told my direct deposit would be processed later tonight and as a "courtesy" they are going to give me $25 for my inconvenience Chat Icon

my mil went to take out money and they said she couldn't because they were updating but she explained that she had contractors coming to do work today and needed/demanded the cash and they did give it to her.

My account hasn't been updated - my paycheck from yesterday hasn't been reflected, my mortgage payment from today hasn't been reflected, and the credit card pmt DH sent yesterday hasn't been reflected.

This is ridiculous - who updates systems at the end of the month/end of the quarter?

Yes, I still do not have access to my paycheck. My automatic payments have not been reflected but I got them to take my account out of overdraft at least.

Once this is all over I am closing both of my accounts. I dont feel bad for them I have had accounts with banks that had mergers before and this never happened.

I have my direct deposit, but an overdraft fee that I want corrected.

AND I paid my cell phone bill yesterday (over the phone) and it was in pending last night, this morning, but not now??

I also used my card at Waldbaums for like $7 to see what happend and that isn't there, infact it says my pending is $0.00.

Again no funds available.

My Drycleaner now thinks I am a deadbeat.

I transferred money (I have 2 accts with them) this am and now it put all my $$ back into the other account. Putting me into overdraft once again - are you kidding me?

I cant even call right now I am soo stressed out with this I cant even deal with it anymore today.

this happened to me too i used my card and saw it yesterday and now i dont see it at all. also the guy i talked to said they will be refunding all overdraft fees that were charged to peoples accounts!!

i spent over an hour in the drive thru yesterday after the inside closed. normally it takes 10 minutes. it was crazy. i want to go back and close my accounts, but i don't want to if they are still having problems.
