Teacher Appreciation Week!!
It's Teacher Appreciation Week, is your class doing anything special for you??? On Friday, my class mom came in and put sealed letters in the kids mailboxes, I am dying to know what they are going to do. I had to answer a whole bunch of questions for them, like what was my favorite childhood book and why, favorite movie, favorite scent, favorite flower, favorite food, and what kind of dog did I have and her name.
Our principal and AP are also giving the staff lunch on Wed.

I dont have a class mom  and I doubt my kids will even know its a special day
The PTA gives us a buffet lunch on our 1/2 day on the 15th but thats about it

The PTA in our school does breakfast one day and lunch another.
The administration serves us breakfast one day also and we always get like mugs/pins/journals etc from the district.

I love my class and my class moms, I got a breakfast basket on Monday, and today I got a vase and a dozen pink tulips and bath and body works stuff. They are doing something for me every morning!!

I LOVE Teacher Appreciation Week in our school! We got breakfast on Monday, lunch yesterday along with a huge canvas tote in our school colors, today we had a "coffee break" with TONS and TONS of cookies and cakes and candy and fruit and everything your little heart could desire, plus we got little bags filled with candy, pens and note pads, tomorrow we get lunch again, then Friday we get breakfast again. We're also getting scrapbooks made by the kids with pictures and nice personal messages they all wrote (I'm not supposed to know this, it's supposed to be a surprise, by my best friend is the art teacher and they did it with her), and then they're also raffling off a weekend getaway in Vermont or New Hampshire or something like that. I love my school

we've had a pretty good week too  yesterday, breakfast from the principal... today a CHOCOLATE FOUNTAIN in the teachers lounge at lunch from the PTA with all the dippers (strawberries, pineapples, sugar wafers, marshmellows, pretzels, etc) and tomorrow its a luncheon from the principal!

We got one of those mass messages where the school district calls you at home with a taped message - it was from our superintendent telling us how appreciated we are ......right after he bargained a zero raise for us this year!
