Teacher Exam Questions...
When I was going to school in NY...I took the CST, ATSW and LAST. Did well on all of them...enough to pass!
Now they are telling me I need to take:
Millers Analogies Test (MAT)
GRE
PRAXIS I
PRAXIS II
Anyone ever taken any of these?

Took the GRE online twice - did well both times but didn't study at all. They were similar to the SAT, but the GRE has a writing section (I guess the SAT does now, but it didn't when I took it). Buy a review book to familiarize yourself.

I've taken the Praxis I and Praxis II
Praxis I has Math, Reading and Writing.
There are several different Praxis II exams - I took Elementary Content Knowledge which had SS/Math/Reading/Science questions. The SS was the most difficult for me because of all the questions on dates.Praxis is what pretty much the entire country outside of NY uses for teaching exams.

I also took both of the Praxis exams and found them to be easy (well easier then the NY tests) They told me I needed them to be certified in MD and VA, and then the day after I took them they informed me that I didn't need them because both states had reciprocity with NY for certification

The MAT and the GRE are not teacher exams for certification. They are used by graduate schools as a requirement for admission. like the SAT is used for undergrad. admissions, those are used for grad. admissions.
I took the MAT for one school I applied too! EASY! I didn't need the GRE for any school i applied to.
PRAXIS--- took them to initially get certified in PA abotu 10 years ago. EASY EASY!@ EASY!!! honestly, maybe i am just a good test taker, but in my opinion, the teacher certification exams are so easy. they are really basic information that if you have a degree, or common sense, you KNOW the info.
