Teachers - I think I'm first.
I start school tomorrow. Can't believe this is my last night of summer vacation! It went so fast! Since I'm a guidance counselor, I go back a week before the teachers.
Enjoy this last week and think of me!!

And, to make it even better - what happens this week is that all the students and parents get to stand on line and come try to change and be mad about schedules - it's a madhouse and it's hot!! They don't realize how many (paid and unpaid) hours we already spent this summer correcting scheduling errors!

They don't realize how many (paid and unpaid) hours we already spent this summer correcting scheduling errors!
I can relate to how you feel!! Only a small % of parents realize how hard we work for their childrens education!!

Believe me - I understand - It took me three years to get a perm job! It's still hard though to go back - esp when you already know what you're in for - lol
Start looking at schools for perm sub positions - I used to see a lot of ads for them once school started.

Its really fun when you never did this job and suddenly with about 10 minutes training I am fixing schedules. Luckily I worked here last year so I know the computer and stuff but I am SOOO overwhelmed.

i cant believe you go back tomorrow.... I am in tomorrow and thurs to set up my classroom. I am not looking forward to it sinc eI left that classroom in shambles. I was so done in June I was like haleys comet out of there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
