I give the same amount of homework I always give. Sadly, many of the parents see homework not as enrichment, but as a babysitter.

Yea, I wish I hadn't in a way. I got a letter from a parent today that she feels I shouldn't have given it, but honestly, I gave a very short assignment. It could have taken 15 minutes total. It is due Friday. I guess you can't please them all.

Yes, but I teach AP and college courses in a high school. There is no way to get through the advnaced curriculum and be prepared for such a rigorous exam w/o it.

I gave alittle today. All I gave today was a Christmas word search and a holiday math sheet for fun. I will not give homework tomorrow and then they are in for a big surprise on Thursday when they get a homework packet for the vacation.

Yes but I gave my regents kids a choice homeworks assignment and my gift students a lighter assignment that they had 2 days to due. Tomorrow night's how work should take them all of 10 minutes.

I gave the regular amount of homework this week. I didn't even think of doing less, to be honest!
I also am required to give a homework packet for the vacation.
In it was one 3-page small moment writing assignment
3 reading response sheets
the directions, materials and record sheet for domino sort game
a weather graph to record the weather each day
and 2 map skills sheets.
I teach 1st grade special ed.
