Teachers: what kinds of gift did/do you receive for the holidays from kids?

DC is in Kindergarten and I am wondering what to give. She actually has a teacher, special ed teacher in the room and an aide.

Gift cards? Food/Chocolate? Any suggestions?

I've gotten all sorts of stuff .

My favorites are either a Christmas ornament or food.

One teacher in my school got a Coach bag once!

I get all sorts of things, but my fave is gift cards...Dunkins or Starbucks, one kid gave me a coupon book for 5 free coffees at 7-11 one year...that was one of my favorites because I love 7-11 coffee.

I've gotten tons of different things from gift cards to stores, to Godiva chocolates, etc. But, I'd say that my favorite gift of all time was from a student who gave me two note pads that said a "A not from Mrs. W...." and on the bottom, it had a music teacher conducting. I still have them because they gave me so many and I LOVE using them!
Gift cards are great and chocolate is nice, but that kind of thing was just so thoughtful

I always have liked an lotions, sprays...I keep them in my room nice to have.

Also ornaments, a parents got me a personalized one when I got married last yr which was sweet but with the wrong first name...pretty funny I hung it on the tree as a joke anyway
