teen mom 2 (yes, its parenting related)
did anyone watch last night? poor Leah  i cannot even imagine what she is going through with one of her girls. does anyone have any idea of what is wrong with her? seems a neurological issue? possible that she wont walk?
the fact that the doctor said her arms look short, her legs/feet turn in and she will not close her hands or hold things or put weight on her legs makes me think some sort of genetic disorder?
i cannot even begin to imagine. all that little girl has in store for her

Ugh..I was crying right along with her last night. I have no idea what could be wrong with that poor little. I did not like that Doctor at all though..he just seemed heartless!! I saw in the previews she tells her mom "she might not be able to walk" I can't imagine being so young and having to go through that..I can't imagine going through it at any age..but that young is so sad.

that doctor made me mad too. if that was my child, i would have scooped her up and walked out  he was talking to a child, about her child. no bedside manner at all and he seemed clueless

Yeah I felt so badly for her and Corey....and she should get a new PED (if that's who the Dr was) because he didn't seem compassionate at all!
I hope that baby is ok
Jenelle needs to grow up, she's lucky her crazy mom let her come back home

I agree,...about the doc.
He was like useless info!
I was so sad.
Mom of twin and its hard to see one go through a difficult time and the other healthy and fine.

I kept saying if her mom is a nurse how did they NOT catch this sooner?! or even her doctor??
I mean one look at the baby and you could tell she was drastically different from the other twin.
I feel terrible that they have to deal with this b/c she's just a kid herself, at least Corey and Leah have a good support system! Hopefully the baby will be able to walk!
ETA: That Dr. was HORRIBLE!! I couldn't believe he was like oh and her arms look a little short, can't you see that?!

my heart broke for her.
you can see all of her emotions after dr left room and she just looked down at her baby laying there in a diaper.
just wanting everything to be okay for her baby.

you could tell it was honest. it wasnt a "woe is me" kind of sad. it was an honest fear for the life her child will lead i cannot even imagine.

I read another forum about this show (yeah, I'm an addict, sorry) and there is a lot on that forum about how badly edited this show is, and I think that's the case here. I think the edit made it seem like it was the first dr appt for the issue, when in fact this was the first specialist they were seeing. If you listen carefully, when Leah is in the park with her mom, she says, "Its not getting better," leading me to believe that her mom or regular ped had taken an initial "wait and see" approach. Also, the babies ages were all over the place throughout her segments.
The editing is horrendous and very contrived on this show.It's a lot of cut and paste to achieve the storyline MTV wants.

I was in tears for her. It was such raw emotion when the doc left and she was looking at the baby. It was almost like you could see her flashing forward to what her daughter might have in store for her.

I think sometimes as a parent you notice something buy try and convince yourself it is normal.
The ped on the other hand.....a doctor should have noticed that!!!! Poor baby

I give Leah so much credit, she has twins and graduated HS and lives on her own(i believe) SOme of the other girls live with their parents have one baby and cant graduate.
I didnt watch last nights episode yet, i DVR'd it. I cant wait to see it!

I could not imagine going threw that. You can see how upest/scared/worried all that she was feeling. As far as the docter he was a A$$ i would see another one. I do agree with the pp that this has been a ongoing issue but is just now being brought out in the show. Hopefully the poor baby is ok.
