Teeth Cleaning for Dogs

MY dog is old and not doing so well. His back went out so he doesn't walk and sometimes he gets sick easily. THe Vet suggested getting his teeth cleaned. It may help and keep him around longer. He won't get so sick anymore, but I'm afraid it's a lot for a little dog to stay over night and all.

Thoughts?

Re: Teeth Cleaning for Dogs

When my previous dog was 11 we got his teeth cleaned. All went well but he did not stay overmight. I don't really know why they need to keep your dog overnight. I think that'a alot for an older dog. I would probaby insist I can pick him up.
