Comforter, Pillows, Sheets, Dust Ruffle..probably about another $300.

I hate mine but DH and I are looking into getting the Bob-O-Pedic.

If you already have a box spring then all you need is the mattress and it is $999. If you need both then it is $1299.

Select comfort - we bought it from a select comfort store. I don't remember how much we paid. We love the bed. It really works for us. However, the bed frame cracked (it's a weird plastic thing that is specifically for their beds). They are sending us a new on and it's 100% covered by their warranty so even though we've had the bed for 6 years, we don't have to pay.

The warranty they brag about is prorated. They didn't tell us that when we bought the bed. We were lucky with the bed frame and the issue we had with it. It's covered 100%.

love our king sized bed! mattress was probably around $2000. don't remember the brand, but it was from sleepys - middle of the road mattress.

our frame is from bob's and was probably about $1000. we didn't need a box spring because of the frame.

We just bought a basis frame for it. We'll do a headboard when we get "real" bedroom furniture.

Our king bed is from Ashley... It is the Leighton collection... bought it through highpointfurnituresales.com bc it was so much cheaper down south... we have the dresser, mirror, and 2 nightstands with it... $2300 (includes delivery and tax)



Our mattress is from Sleepy's $1300 (no boxspring) ... Simmons Beautyrest Hamlet Plush... We LOVEEEE it... Most comfortable mattress ive ever slept on

Macy's is having a big mattress day for Labor Day (extra savings 9/1-2). I'm mad I didn't save one part of the letter I got, but it said you can go in starting today (8/25) to buy and it will be delivered on 9/1 or 9/2. Free delivery and set-up over $797. We are going tomorrow.


Re: brands - I will never buy a Sealy/Stearns and Fostern again. Our bed was in HORRIBLE shape after 5 years - it felt like a volcano and we felt like we were rolling off the edge of the beds. I measured the depression and it exceeded(1.5") the amount of normal wear and tear (.75"). When the guy came to measure, he measured even more (2"). but the company told me that it did not qualify.

I need a matress and boxspring..I have a frame and actual headboard. I have a 4 post bed.

I hate my latex mattress. It has to go.

I need a deal for sure. I've already replaced this mattress once via warranty and it's doing the same thing. What POC. I can't deal with doing the warranty thing again.
