Tell me everything there is to know about the City Mini
I had the Peg Perego Pliko P3 with my first son... now 4 years old. I loved the stroller. It was my one and only stroller. My parents bought me a new Peg Perego Pliko for DS#2. I didn't think it was made as well as it was in 2007 and it was assembled wrong out of the box twice. I returned it twice. Now I'm thinking of getting the City Mini since it gets such great reviews. I can always use my old Peg if I want that type of stroller and I can use it until DS is 6 months while he's still in infant seat. It still works well... just stained, etc.
Tell me why you love it, what you don't like, what could be better, etc. Also, what color you have and if you're happy with it.
Thanks!!

Love it, only thing I don't like is that they're a bit reclined in it, but once they can sit up better its really not that big of a deal. Everything else is GREAT...moves easily, even pushing w/one hand, folds SO easily, I have it in black but I see now they have purple (which I would have bought if they had back then). I can hang a ton of crap on it and it still doesn't tip. I bought a parent console which is really helpful.

Re: Tell me everything there is to know about the City Mini
I have been using mine for 6 months now and I am on the hunt for a new stroller and this is why: The basket suxxx Even the newer model doesn't seem to sit straight up and now that dd is 9 months old thats all she wants to do. All your accessories must be bought seperately. I wish I got one that had the option of facing me.
The great things about it is the easy fold and how light it is and it takes up like no room in my trunk. It reclines all the way. The sun shade is huge. Great for traveling.
ALl in all I am not 100% satisfied and like I said I am now on the hunt for another stroller

Re: Tell me everything there is to know about the City Mini
I really like mine..as far as the reclining issue...I got DD a mini pillow pet and it seems to be more comfortable that way..I see lots of parents with little pillows in them.
The basket does kind of $uck, but I haven't found a stroller (other than the snap&go) which doesn't, and I really don't use the basket anyway. It's strudy enough to hold the diaper bag on the handle and I have the mommy hooks for anything else. I love the way it folds and it's light enough. Sun-shade is awesome. I got the tray accessory, not the bar, but we don't even use that, that much.

Re: Tell me everything there is to know about the City Mini
We have the 2011 (newer) version and it does sit up pretty straight, DS has no issues with it.
The basket can be a bit hard to access, but it's a nice size and I can dump a lot of stuff in there without a problem.
We bought the parent console, the cooler bag, and the belly bar for it. I could do without the cooler bag now, but the other two are must haves IMO.
It pushes SO easily, with one hand no issue. No easier stroller to fold. And it has a HUGE canopy, really this is a big plus. Reclines all the way too which is great for when they want to nap or just rest.
I would definitely 100% recommend it.

Re: Tell me everything there is to know about the City Mini
Good: 1. Easy to fold 2. Maneuvers on ANY surface well 3. Simplest stroller to use 4. Reclines totally flat 5. BEST canopy made for ANY stroller 6. Basket is OK... I only rarely put stuff under there.
Bad: 1. Doesn't sit up straight (but can stick something behind kid or "flip" seat forward) 2. kiddie tray sold separately (I did not buy it) 3. Does flip over if you put heavy bag without kid to balance it (there are clear warning signs not to do that).
I have it in red. I like it & it looks clean. My mom & dad bought their own in purple. Also looks nice.
