Tell me what you think of this situation...
This morning, DH and I were walking to the train.
This girl is walking in front of us, wearing like a full, sorta flowy skirt-- that was VERY short. It was also very windy this morning, so the skirt was blowing all over the place. Also, with each step, it came VERY shy of showing her "business".
Then, the wind blew again, AND she starts running across the street and her skirt totally blew up-- showing hot pink thong underwear. She had no reaction-- whereas I, would probably immediately bring my hand to my skirt to keep it from blowing-- but then again, I would have my hand there holding my skirt in place the whole time anyway. She just kept walking-- same as before-- each step almost giving us a show again.
I personally cannot believe that she didn't feel the wind blow up her privates-- either when it was coming dangerously close, or when it actually happened. Nor, that she was doing NOTHING to prevent her skirt from staying put.
I said to DH-- I think she is doing it on purpose and is some sort of exhibitionist who wants people to look at her bare arse. How can one be immune to the cold so much??

this is exactly what i think - WHO wears a thing with a skirt that short? and then doesn't bother to hold the skirt down? only someone obviously looking for some kind of attention - or someone with a very bad sense of proportion. 
i don't think there's anything wrong with that kind of attention-seeking - to each their own! but i think that was why she did it.

Its almost instinctive to hold your skirt down when the wind is blowing it up.. She was giving you a show!! For sure. especially if she was in shape and proud of it! That could be the only thing I can think of

I had that issue yesterday. I wore a flowy skirt (not short at all Michi can confirm this lol) and as the wind was blowing it kept going up, so I held it down with one hand since my other hand was holding my handbag and bag of things I bought.
However at one point I couldnt old it down anymore because I ran errands on the way home and now had more bags in my hand. It was a short walk from the store, but at one point my skirt flew all the way up. I was mortified and prayed there wasn't anyone behind me, thankfully there wasn't.
I can't believe she didnt make the effort to pull her skirt down

yeah-- she was hands free. She had a handbag on her shoulder, but both hands would have been acessible to stop the peep show.

omg! for me-i would have been mortified!!!
being that i work in the city, with the air blowing in the subway and from the train grates, i wrap my hands around my skirt so i dont give anyone a show
i loveeeee flowy skirts, but its embarrasing to try and keep them from not going up!!

I personally would feel unfomfortable wearing a thong under a short skirt to work..
I think your right though- she probably likes the attention.

It's possible for the wind to catch her by surprise the first time it happens. It's happened to me and I was .
But repeatedly?? Yeah, she was putting on a show. I hope for your sake (and everyone elses), it was at least a nice show.

She was definitely not blocking on purpose. The only excuse for not having your hand block your skirt is if they're full & even then, get a shoulder bag.

If I felt really confident of my body, I would walk around naked most of the time. Maybe she thinks she is hot and wants everyone else to think so also!
