Telling Friends and Family
Is it awful if I tell two of my best friends I'm pg before I tell my parents and in-laws? I'm going to see my two best friends this week for dinner and feel like I can't keep it a secret from them...and DH and I have a plan to tell my parents and in-laws on my parents anniversary next weekend. What are your thoughts?

Totally ok. I told my best friend a few hours before I told my dad... I didn't tell my mom for another week after that. We told the ILs the day we told my mom.
It's completely your comfort level regarding when you tell people! It's totally fine to tell your good friends, especially since you'll see them in person! We definitely told people we saw in person before those we called.

I'm really conflicted on what to do!
She said she only told some very close friends and swore them to secrecy... yet somehow everyone in her town seems to know, and she hasn't told her parents yet. She thinks someone may have overheard her telling them that she didn't realize who spread it, and she's worried her parents may find out from someone besides her and her DH.

I would trust my two friends with my life and know they would never tell. Now as for my in-laws...well that's another story! lol

I told my friend and three of my cousins before telling my parents. I wanted to wait til I got my blood results back before teling the parents. I was trying to think of a way to tell them but I couldnt think of anything creative so I just went over their house and told them

I would trust my two friends with my life and know they would never tell. Now as for my in-laws...well that's another story! lol
LOL I had to swear everyone to secrecy and impress upon them the importance of NOT POSTING ON FACEBOOK about the pregnancy until we were ready. Amazingly, no one spilled the beans. 
My mom is a surprisingly-amazing secret keeper. My BFF told me she was pregnant a few weeks after I found out and swore me to secrecy but I totally told my mom right away because I knew I could trust her. Even after my BFF came out about her PG, my mom asked me if she could say congratulations now or should she still keep mum on it. I wish I had my mom's secrecy skills. I'm such a gossiper...
