just got in now!!
my mom didn't get it. The ultrasound comes up and she goes, 'looks like House'. Then i just went, 'you don't get this do you?'.
My friend Kelly goes - YOUR DAD DOES....(we couldn't see him because of where he was sitting and yes, i do regret that)...he thought for a sec it was Kelly's ultrasound and then he saw our name on the thing itself....and started tearing up.
My mom had to be told... My mom said - i don't get it...and Kelly's son Nik screams, 'I DO!!!' I told him to go for it and let out the secret he has been DIEING to tell...and he says - 'it's a BABY!!!', to which my mom answers, 'who's?'.....and Nikki goes, 'jess'' to which my mom goes, "WHAT?"....and my dad just keeps quiet....
It was great....but then, as expected, my mom started asking who knows and started getting pissy that they were the last to know...(saw it coming though)...so Kelly, who's a nurse says - the ONLY reason she told me is because she didn't believe the test was positive - so she asked my opinion as a nurse, NOT a friend, etc... If you're reading this Kelly - i LOVE YOU for that!!!!!
End result - they are OVER THE MOON....and can't believe it!!!!!!!!!
ETA: OMG - i was FINALLY able to ask my mom about morning sickness (as i have had NONE)....SHE DIDN'T HAVE IT EITHER!!!!!!!!! i can stop panicing!!!!! I felt this HUGE sense of relief!!!

Awww so glad you had a great 'reveal'!!!!
That's so funny I let my little niece make our announcement to our family last year, it was so fun and she felt so important!!!
Glad your family is so excited for you, they are going to adore
