Temping
When should you start temping? (In regards to your period? The day after you get it? Thanks!!!

you can really start at anytime, but the first day of your period is considered CD1.

Start taking it around the day you think you will get AF. (Even a little before) That way you'll get the right day.
However, as said before, you can really start at any time. I just started this month myself and I started on day 4 because I didn't want to wait.
