Temping overview

Can someone give me a brief overview of what the temperatures mean.

This is my first month charting and I have been using fertilityfriend.com, but when I try to understand what the temperatures are supposed to do (when they should rise, when they should dip, what that all means) I get confused with some of their technical terms.

So a brief explanation in simple English would be great...

(I knew I should have paid more attention in biology class... )

Pretty much, there will be a surge in your temperature when you "O." At least that's how I understand it. FF will be bale to determine the surge by you recording your temp. every morning.
