Temping question-TMI
I am on cd 13 so today's temp is crucial. I woke up this am, and was sweating like a dog.....DH had turned the fan off in the middle of the night. I took my temp and it was very VERY high.......indicating I O'd already.
I got up, turned the fan on again, took off the blanket, cooled off, and went back to sleep for half an hour. When the alarm went off again, I re-temped, and my temp was an entire degree lower.....where I would expect it to be.
QUestion is....which temp do I use? The first or the second? Do you think the fact that the fan was off, the room temp was so hot affected my temp?
Thanks

Re: Temping question-TMI
I would use the first temp but make a note of the circumstances. The second temp may look prettier, but it's probably not very accurate, since you got up,moved around and then went back to sleep for such a short period of time. Being hot may have affected your first temp, but probably not all that much. I think it depends on the person. For me, even when DH turns off the AC and I feel like I'm sweating to death, my temps are usually still pretty much in range

Re: Temping question-TMI
The room temp can definitely affect your BBT. I would use the second temp which sounds more accurate. I read that when you get up and the time gets later than your usual temp time, your temp actually increases. So the fact that it was 1 degree lower indicates you were too warm.
