Terrible accident on the LIE
They just showed an awful accident on the exit ramp of the west bound side of the LIE onto Van Dam street in Sunnyside. The tractor part of a tractor-trailer somehow landed on top of a car, crushing it.
From the pics they showed, I will be amazed if the people in the car survived. They said that one was removed on a stretcher and they are still working to remove one.
