testing early??

I took a HPT before I missed AF and it came back postive. I went to the obgyn today and they did a sono and saw nothing yet. I am due for AF tomorrow. Has this happened to any of you and if so what was the outcome?
oh, they took a blood test today and I get the results tomorrow, I'm just being a little impatient.

I went to the Dr. early also and all they saw was a teeny tiny little dot on the screen. Had I gone a day or two before he probably wouldn't have seen anything either. The outcome was the 'lil man growing in my belly!

I am a little over 5 weeks pregnant and the doctor told me i could come in and we might be able to see a little something at this point. i think you are still kind of early for a sono.

i was like 2 days preggo, when i went to the gyn the test came out postive, but she wanted to wait till i was 6 or 7 weeks to do a sono

testing to early, even with a sono, can lead to a false negative. I went at 5w4d for my first sono to confirm the sac was in the right place. Had I gone even a few days earlier I would not have seen anything.

I had several positive tests and when I went to the doctor there wasnt anything there...I was just a lot less preggo than I thought...
