Tests before TTC?

We are thinking of TTCing in the future (far future), and I asked my Ob/gyn about any before measures...She gave me a list of 4 tests to get done before TTC...I can't make it out that well (it's on a prescription pad), but it looks like:
-Habelectrophrens
-Rubella L&G (we both had MMR vaccinations though)
-Type & RL
-TSH

Did anyone have these tests done, and are they necessary? She said they are good precautionary measures.

We didn't have any testing done for a couple of reasons - 1) we're completely different ethnicities so we don't have to worry about the grouped genetic disorders and 2) because we know the above and neither of us (thankfully) has any horrible hereditary diseases presented in our families, so there's basically no test result that would change our minds about trying to have children.

That was our view of it but everyone's is different (same argument(s) can be made for the amnio once you are pregnant). I would ask yourself both those questions and also perhaps ask your gyno why the tests are recommended, what information would the results give you that would be helpful.

Also planning for the far future here and my OBGYN gave me a script for blood work as well. good luck!
