Thank You Gift for Doctor

Does anyone have a really good idea for a thank you gift for my OB/GYN? He is such a great doctor and my pregnancy had so many complications that we've been through a lot and I wanted to thank him. I was on hospital bedrest for two months and he visited every day. He came in on a Sunday to deliver my babies via emergency c-section within 15 minutes of getting the call from the hospital. He found a way to clear up my incision infection after I delivered without having to reopen the wound and have to deal with wound care for 3-4 weeks so that I could take care of my twins (he did a drain even though other doctors didn't think it would work). He has seen me on weekends and taken calls about my condition at all hours... I really think they broke the mold when they made him as he truly cares about his patients. Any ideas on how to thank him? He has a great sense of humor so gifts can be funny - in fact that would probably be his preference.

do you know any of his likes? i.e. my OB is a Mets fan so we were thinking of giving him awesome opening day Mets tickets.

He likes racket ball a LOT ... also the beach.

I think a GC to a restaurant would be nice or make him a "day at the beach" basket filled with beach accessories.
