Thank you notes for Christmas gifts?
Was just wondering you all sends thank you's to people who got DC a Christmas gift? I sent them for my shower and all the gifts she got at her baptism and when she was born, but not sure on the etiquette for Christmas gifts. I am thinking I probably should.... In my experience, I've never received thank you notes for Christmas gifts, what should I do?
Besides family, she got gifts from some of my friends and co-workers.

Me too. I know certain people are probably sick of getting thank you's from me but I was brought up to always write a thank you when someone takes the time to give you a gift.

In general, I am able to thank the person in person so I don't but when I receive one via mail I either send an email thanking them or a card.

I dont send them to family. or close friends. But sometimes co workers or neighboirs give her gifts and then I send a thank you card.

I took advantage of the seehere.com promotion and had thank you cards made up

I make up a cute one on the computer with pics of her from Christmas. Very simple, just saying thank you and then I stuff them in envelopes and send, I don't go crazy thanking for individual gifts because honestly, with everything she has gotten from her b-day and Christmas I have no clue who bought what anymore.

I didn't. Just me. No one ever sent me one for Christmas gifts. Some people I sent an email to if I wasn't going to see them to thank them in person i.e., they mailed a gift.
