I think it sounds fine as long as it isn't all white but I'm pretty laid back with that type of stuff.

Are the lines all around the dress, or just in the front? Sorry, but if it's a mostly white dress with just a little black accent, I wouldn't wear it.

I would not wear it, but that's just me. I feel there are a hundred colors other than white , so why wear white to a wedding?

Without a pic I can't judge but you called it a white dress with black.
So in my mind its a white dress with black accents.

It's hard to say without seeing the dress, I think it really depends on how much black is in it. I wore this dress to a wedding..if that's any help:

I have said a million times that I have zero tolerance for "How DARE you wear a,b and/or c to a wedding" people .........
But of all of the colors in the whole world, white is the one you don't wear to a wedding, unless you're the bride. OR you're in the wedding party and the bride chooses white for you ........

The dress posted w/ the pink flower isn't a white dress. It has white IN a print.
if the dress if a black/white stripe, I think it's fine. I just wouldn't wear a white dress, w/ say a single black stripe along the bust of belt ......KWIM?

Yep, as I was reading the responses, this is what I wa thinking.
I wouldn't wear any sort of white to a wedding. A little bit of detail in white, maybe. But if the actually dress is white with black lines then I think no.
