Thanks to this board, I am now addicted to Panera's French Onion Soup
I just had it today, at the suggestion of a bunch of you lovely ladies. Might I add, I am so addicted, that I have to have it again today. So I am having DH pick it up for dinner.
I got it with half a salad and was wishing I had that big gigantic bread bowl with French Onion Soup in it instead! I just couldn't get enough of that salty goodness!!!! Oh my!!!

me neither - i only like campbells chicken noodle....
and with french onion - i only eat the broth and the cheese....i eat AROUND the onions...and leave the bread....
i know - i'm weird.

Yeah, just a bit of cheese shaved on top. Not much...
To the poster above, there was plenty of broth to avoid the onions if you really wanted...OMG, it was to die for.
And the Potato Soup there ROCKS, now I have two favorites there.
The chicken noodle there SUX though, it was terrible as well as I don't care for their black bean soup.
I think I might need to try the tomato now!!!

You gotta check though...they rotate the days which they serve their soups. I don't know which days they carry the French Onion. I know Potato Soup is on Wed and Sat...that I KNOW!

I haven't ventured there yet, because I'm currently addicted to their broccoli cheddar soup (which I'm eating now!)
I'm guessing the French Onion will be my obsession next week!
I also want to say their new Panini - Mozzarella and Tomato Pesto is DELISH!!!!

it was okay.....
not too salty though - i added some salt.
Since i'm home - i took advantage of the fact that i could STRAIN it - and once i did that - it was better for me!
