I usually make apple pie every year, but since this year I have to travel, I am thinking about making some sort of cookie to bring with me... maybe rainbow cookies! Maybe I'll make some chocolate chips for the kiddies too.

We are going to my in-laws for Thanksgiving and I am making an artichoke spinach pie.

Well- I am going to IL's and I decided yesterday that I am going to bring a zucchini pie (sorta like quiche without a crust)-- I am a vegetarain and there usually isn't much for me to eat-- aside from tons of carbs.
Can you share this recipe?

I tried out a new recipe this weekend for a cinnamon walnut strussel bundt cake. It came out great, my DH raved, as did my Mom and Dad. Dad had 2 pieces, that was enough proof for me.
So I'm making it Wednesday for a work Thanksgiving thing, and then next week to bring to my sister's house.
I wanted to do something else like a pie, or cookies, but everyone else has it covered. Maybe I'll buy a whole bunch of flavored creamers for coffee too.

We are going to my parents, so I will make some kind of veggie, these great mashed, swirled & baked sweet & yukon gold potatoes I make.
We have a wedding the night before & DH is the bridal party so I am glad we are not having dinner w/ the inlaws----I tend to do a lot of the cooking at DH request!!

wow Where is the month going I feel like it Just started and already Next week is Thanksgiving!  Well originally I was suppose to go to Dh's Aunts house BUT now we are going Out to dinner so I might bring dessert if we go back to my mom in law's.

Strawberry Pretzel Jello Salad is so good. People are always apprehensive at first (pretzels on top of jello/whip cream?) but it always ends up being a hit.
I'll post the recipe on the recipe board when I get home. There are variations online but I make it with the jello layer on the bottom, whip cream/cream cheese layer in the middle and sprinkle the pretzels on top right before serving. This way the pretzels stay crunchy.

Im going to my parents. I already bought an apple pie (Yes, I cheated..,its in the freezer) and I may bake something else to bring as well.
My parents leave for Florida that night, maybe I'll throw together a "Goody Bag" for their trip (They drive down).

We're going to my parents' house. I always prepare the mashed potatoes. DH also requested that I make him cupcakes (his favorite) since we'll be celebrating his birthday several times that weekend. I'll probably also make banana bread since that was a hit last year.
