thanksgiving menu
i was at the supermarket, last night... and it hit me....
this year, my son and i will be spending thanksgiving alone (read TOGETHER WITHOUT DISTRACTIONS)
he and i started talking about thanksgiving dinner and what we would love to make. i've never put the entire meal together... would love to hear what your favorites are so i can put a cool menu together.
so far, we've decided on: *small turkey *cranberry sauce from scratch (very easy) *mashed potatoes
would love to hear from you all

Re: thanksgiving menu
I'll add to your menu:
green beans w/slivered almonds
stuffing (either homemade or from a box depending on the # I expect)
gravy
biscuits
PIE - apple and pumpkin!
Black and green olives
maybe a salad

Re: thanksgiving menu
how about stuffing for the turkey? garlic green beans- this is easy, once green beans are cooked, drain water, add some olive oil and fresh chopped garlic and sprinkle a little salt...
sutffed mushrooms for appetizers..
