I love Bill maher. If you know his humor (and i DO NOT condone everything he says and does) you know that this is him being his usually jaska$$ self.
Again, this is pushing it, pbut i still love him!!!

Re: That's just plain wrong
Well, i do agree it is not very tasteful, but I am sorry to say, neither was interviewing Steve Irwin's wife just days after his death and using his daughter by pushing new television programs where she would supposedly "take his place"...
The media took full advantage of the guy's death and did it for as long as possible... so really, I don;t find this costume so shocking, he is just going with the flow...

Media?
If she didn't want to have the interview...she could have said NO
if the wife DIDN"T want her child doing things SHE WOULDN"T HAVE...

I am sure she would have said no if she wanted to, however, she found it perfectly appropriate to go in front of the camera for, what I believe, was a full hour, and answer many many intimate and emotion questions in front of millions of people. If she wanted to be left alone and grieve in peace AND not to make this event become a public affair, she wouldn't have done so.
I know everyone grieves in their own way, but I found it extremely shocking when they started advertising her "exclusive interview" just days after he died. I though it was rather in bad taste, both for the media to ask her--although their motives are well understood--and for her to say yes. JON.
