The Americans this week
What does everyone think of the last episode with everything going on with Martha? I thought maybe they were going to help her, but now that she told Gabriel she knows they are KGB I think she's a goner...

Me too. I thought for a moment that she overdosed on meds when "Clark" found her. I was thinking it was a win win for everyone (except Martha).

I think they're going to kill her. Did you see the previews? it looks like she either starts talking to the FBI or tells clark she can't do it anymore - either way she's done.

Me too! There is obviously a plan to get her out but she did herself in when she snapped at Gabriel outside. She's done.

Spoilers!
Boy, lots of fake outs this week! Is Martha going to jump off the bridge? Is Elizabeth going to kill her? Is Martha going to leave (I can't believe she knows Clark's real name)?
And what was up with the girl that takes the phone calls? Seems like a weird conversation to throw into the show if it's for no reason (asking what happened to the person before her).
I'm a little surprised the KGB is going through so much trouble to get Martha out instead of killing her.

I feel bad for Martha.. Felt for her especially when Philip told her he wasn't going with her.... I really thought Elizabeth was going to kill her in the park or that she was going to commit suicide

I feel bad for Martha too. When she said she was going to be all alone like she was before that was so sad. I wish Philip would go with her I think he actually loves her.

DH thinks something is up with Tatiana (the woman at the embassy) and Martha won't make it to Russia.
I feel bad for Martha but at the same time I'm glad Philip told her the truth. And yes, I thought Elizabeth was going to kill her. I kinda love how they make Elizabeth jealous of Martha, when it's laughable to us. He cares about Martha but he loves Elizabeth.
Was I the only one who thought it was funny when Gaad was like "I'm in charge of FBI counter intelligence. My secretary married a KGB officer?"

Yeah, I thought for sure she was either going to run or they were going to kill her... and yeah stinks for Paige now that she has to hang out with Pastor Tim and his wife all of the time to keep tabs on them.

Paster Tim really thinks he can demand a sit down with people he knows are spies? I imagine he won't be on the show much longer!
Why did Elizabeth pretend to sleep with that guy? The only thing I can figure is that she was unable to get what she wanted (befriending the wife and searching the house) so she's taking herself out of their lives in the hope that someone else can get what they want from him. The look on her face when she put the lotion on him was funny!

This episode was sad to watch. I feel terrible for the couple! Philip wouldn't have done it, he has more of a heart.

I never know what she's looking for - similar to the woman that was an alcoholic. I knew they needed something at her job but I don't know specifically. I assume the Asian husband was the same - he worked for a company and Elizabeth was trying to find secrets from that company.

I think the friend's husband has level 4 security access. My guess is she is going to blackmail him to get what she needs. It was sad and she felt terrible doing it.
What do you guys think the deal is with Pastor Tim disappearing? There is no way they had anything to do with that. They know the wife knows, they're not stupid. I wish they'd just off the both of them but the wife is pregnant and I feel like that's just crossing the line. Pastor Tim though, he's a stage 5 creeper. He looks like Willy Wonka.

Anyone see the last episode? I was *not* expecting that with the ex-FBI guy! I'm guessing he wishes he would've at least listened to what they were going to say. I wonder what their offer was - can't imagine they would be able to make an FBI guy turn!
So glad things worked out well for Pastor Tim, but I'm guessing both of them are going to disappear b/c they can't take the chance again!

Yes, poor Gaad. First he gets fired because his secretary turned out to be a spy, and now he dies trying to get away from the KGB agents. Stan is really going to be on a witch hunt now...
I think after Pastor Tim's wife gives birth they may kill her and Pastor Tim.. especially after the wife was ready to send a letter to authorities revealing who Elizabeth and Philip are...
Lastly, did anyone else find it creepy when Matthew invited Paige into his house? I thought he was going to try something on her. Maybe it was just me lol..

I didn't think it was creepy, but it seemed like he might be interested in her. I don't remember the age gap - maybe a few years (she's high school and he's college)? Seems like he's lonely and just wanted some company.
Seems like Paige is starting to think like her parents - wanting to ask Pastor Tim's wife about the tape, but knew it was better to wait until another day.

I don't think Matthew is too creepy.....I think he and Paige are only a couple years apart and he's interested in her. I was worried she would say something when he mentioned Martha. I'm just waiting for her to mention that to her parents!
Poor Gaad! So Philip must have had something to do with that, no? He asked Stan what happened to his old boss and Stan told him he went to Thailand. And, in the upcoming scenes it showed Philip telling Elizabeth that Gaad was dead. I don't think they would have turned him, but I don't think they meant any harm, either.

It was just announced that they got 2 more seasons but ending after that. I'm kinda glad b/c at least now they have 2 years to end it correctly instead of leaving us hanging.
