I am confused. They kicked Rozlyn off because it was a conflict with the show, but when Wes was deceiving Jillian on The Bachelorette, they did nothing. I think ABC wants this wholesome romantic image, but they're Jerry Springer underneath it all. 
I dont think you can compare the two. Everyone coming on will have an ex at home (that may or may not reallly be an ex), but no one should start a NEW relationship while on the show (with a staff member no less), with anyone but the bachelor/ette.

And why do you say this, aboutit being a she vs he?
I don't know... The way they kept saying a "staffer" this and a "staffer" that, not saying he or she until the very last time, I just sort of assumed it was a female staffer and that was the big "SHOCKER"! 
Ah I see your reasoning. I too thought it was odd he kept saying STAFFER.

I see what you're saying, but I'm not comparing in terms of relationships. I should have been more specific that Wes was there to promote his music/band. It was set-up by his agent, and I thought was very humiliating to Jillian. Why didn't the producers stop him from lying to her? I think Jake was also embarassed because he did give her a rose, but they stepped in with "inappropriate behavior". Wasn't Wes behaving inappropriately?

Good point about Wes. She had to have JAKE tell her the real deal.

According to many reports on the web, there was no sexual affair at all. Not sure if I believe it, but I'm inclined to since this show has been doing a lot of deceptive things for the "wow" factor.

Good point about Wes. She had to have JAKE tell her the real deal.
I am sure there are a lot of people there more for professional reasons then for romantic reasons. That's why Wes got through. Plus it was good for ratings.
But it's usually a huge no-no for production and people on reality shows to develop personal relationships. It can compromises the integrity of the show.

I think Jake is cute and all, but let's face it...he's just like every other Bachelor. He gives Roz and Gia a rose...clearly they are on the show just to be on TV...not to find a husband. I was so happy Roz got busted.
And Elizabeth and that BS letter she wrote about not wanting to kiss him...then sits there batting her eyelashes at him asking him if he wants to kiss her. And he gives HER THE ROSE.
If the whole season is going to be like this...I may not make it to the end.
I like Ali..we'll see.

Yes! She totally looks loke her. Gia looks like someone too.
Wait a minute now. We all failed to comment upon the flying scene set to "On the Wings of Love". How hilarious was that?! The cheese factor iis already rating a 10 this season IMO!

I agree, the flying scene had me dying laughing and saying how cheesy..Overall this episode is strange..the episode with Jillian was better imo
