The BC didn't work, SERIOUSLY??????
I went to Dr. B for bw and sono today, and after 3 weeks of BC, i STILL have eggs, the BC didn't suppress. I asked Dr. B , is this normal? he said it wasn't not normal and "these are the people that get pregnant on bc"
Now this might delay my IVF, i was suppose to start stimming tuesday!
He said to call him later after he gets my blood results. E2
Has this happened to anyone? Or am i just a complete freak of nature ????!?!?
ANYTHING that can go wrong WILL for me

Hasn't happened to me but I do know of others that it has happened to..You might need stronger suppression.

This happened to me...now they dont use BCP for me....they just start me from CD3

He just called and told me it was 93 (E2). Which he said is questionable and he would rather err on the side of caution. I go in Wednesday regardless, but he is going to give me an HCG shot to release the egg and then go on Lupron, then wait for my period. So i guess im about 2 weeks(?) delayed

I just FM'd you before reading this!
Unbelievable. When I went for my sono with Dr B I told him I was spotting and he said that he hoped I didn't have follies, thankfully my ovaries were clear but I too asked him if that were normal and he said "its possible". I did Lupron with my other IVF cylce and that for sure will give you the results you need.
Must feel like an eternity but time will go by...

thanks. eternity sounds about right. knowing that i was (again) weeks away from stims, i cheated and had a beer (only 1) at a bbq this weekend, im such the rebel
