"the house has become available" says RE agent
Of course!! We fell in love with a house two weeks ago, and we were out bid. I was soooo upset.
We found another house that we like a lot, lots of potential, inspected with a good report. Waiting for contract.
Now the bid fell through on the house that I loved.
I am sooooo torn.

Buy both :)
But seriously.. which house is cheaper? What renovations if any would you have to do? Figure out your pros and cons. You only spent what < $500 on the inspection for the new house. Which house do you see yourself in? Compare the differences between the two homes.
Good luck!!

This happened to me and after weighing all the pros and cons, we ended up buying the second house because it had so many more amenities. I still loved the first house, but in the long run am very happy with what we bought.

I would go to see the first one again. Your feelings may have changed when you compare it with the one you are now going into contract with. But, everything does happen for a reason, so good luck!

Re: "the house has become available" says RE agent
when they say that the "house has become available" does that mean that the seller would be willing to accept your original bid?
maybe ask some questions about this before you opt out of the second house?
