The men in my family are making my shower NUTS!
So after much thought we decide to have our shower on 11/15/09. It's a Sunday from 12-2 at our fav. place. I thought it was great since i'll be 30wks and it's before the holidays since we're due in Jan. WELL.......the men( my dad, brother, uncles, grandfathers) are having a HUGE fit about it being opening day of deer season and could I please change it to Nov 1 so they could be there..... I have NEVER heard of men being such babies about being at a baby shower. SO NOW it's Nov 1st from 12-2....I just feel l ike 28wks is a bit early, but with our sched it has to be the 1st or 15th, and I REFUSE to have the shower between Thanksgiving and Christmas, and in the Christmas holiday. When did men become such girls about showers?

my wedding was Nov. 23 and there were like 5 guests that missed the opening weekend of hunting season and made it a point to let me know, they all ended up coming (probably against their will)
