Where do I begin?
1-My job decided to hand out yet another dress code memo because some of the ladies are dressing a little too *****-ish around the office. Now the memo states that I can not wear my sneakers, my comfortable crocs flip flops or stretchy pants. Why don't I just wear a freakin Hefty bag and a pair of boxes on my swollen feet and call it a day. They have no idea how hard it is to find plus size maternity clothes and comfortable sandals.
Can you get a note from your doctor stating medical reason you need to wear certain type of shoes. If you can HR can't say anything because it's a medical reason. My office has a no flip flop rule but since I am pregnant and it's all I can wear they dont say anything to me.
You should be able to wear comfortable footwear as a "reasonable accommodation".

There is no reason why you would not be allowed to wear sneakers [at the least] as a pregnant person. I would not ask your supervisor, just wear your comfy shoes and let someone say something to you. Your cooking a human for crying out loud!

My place gets goofier everyday. Its just ridiculous. Every so often, they send some kind of memo around about the dress code and some things were never really clear, so I guess now they are trying to make up for it. I'm sure its not going to last long because a lot of people never followed through on the last memo regarding no jeans except for Friday. I was talking to my old boss about it and she's like I wouldn't worry about it. My supervisor doesn't even care, he knows I'm always there and I'm a good worker. Anyway, I have my Birkenstock sandals and they are pretty comfortable, not as comfy as my Crocs though. What I'll probably do is wear my Crocs to work and change to my Birki's.

Re: the official complainy pants misery day thread.
I finally got an incredable nights sleep. I slept so wonderful. Definately not a complaint.
But with the way my day has been going it just really ruined the nice nights sleep.
I was getting dressed and ripped half the hem on my pants. I didnt realize it until I got to work and my pants are dragging on the floor. So the right leg on my pants has paper clips on it to keep it up.
Today is the 28th which is a well known crazy day at the office. It's the cut off date for our automatic orders. We have 2 people out on vacation and one person called in sick. Which means we are incredably short staffed. And of course when it rains it pours, our systems are going through a major overhaul of an update so everything is running so slow. Dial up probably runs faster then our computers are running.
I wish I could go on leave now

I feel like a heroin user since I have been poked 6 times since being pregnant to draw blood. I have small veins and it took them 3 tries both times... My arms are bruised and ugly but it's worth it!

My feet are swollen today...if you press on the top of my foot, it leaves an indent. So freaky.
Perhaps I shouldn't have eaten the buffalo wings AND the nachos from Applebees yesterday. Oh, and the Butterfinger right now.

Re: the official complainy pants misery day thread.
so today my back hurts, i am crampy, i am feeling more pressure than ever, and the front of my pelvis is sooo sore.
although to be honest, as crappy as i feel, i am secretly happy because i know this means i am nearing the end and my body is getting ready for this baby to come!
