The Place furniture store in Farmingdale
We purchased bedroom furniture from The Place almost 2 years ago, and some of the marble pieces have broken off both of our night tables! GRRR!
I am about to call them.
Has anyone purchased furniture from The Place? Good or bad experience?

I got my son's bedroom furniture from there roughly 5 years ago and it's made by stanley and in perfect condition!
I would def call them. Not cool!

I purchased an end table and an entertainment center there.......the brand of furniture was Liberty.
No problems whatsoever.
call and complain!

Thanks...I just called them. They told me the mfg. is not in business anymore. The Place gave me a phone number to call to have the night tables repaired at MY expense.
I can't go ballistic on the guy because I am at work....but what would you do here?

The store off 112 closed. I thought it went out of business. That really sucks. I would flip.

We got our kids bedroom furniture from there about 2 years ago - NOT a good experience, I will never shop there again or recommend them.

I bought bedroom furniture from them...left a deposit...kept calling to see when furniture,would arrive after about 5 months of their BS...I wanted my deposit back..because they could not get that furniture ...it took about 2 months to get my deposit back...they s. U. Ck

Our couch, coffee table and end tables are from there. The only service we've needed afterwards was to have some stains removed from the couch. We had purchased the scotchguard for it, so it was free, and wasn't a hassle dealing with them.

I HAD THE WORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRSST experience there. Go read up on them on complaints.com
I wrote a 5 page letter to them, and cc'd BBB, Consumer Affairs. I was days away from picketing on Rt. 110, if they did not refund my $$.
The worst customer service experience in my life. I almost cant believe they are still in business.

THIS HAPPENED TO ME TOO!!!!
My DD sleigh bed was discontinued but they kept re-assuring me that the order "will be in any day".
When I wanted to cancel they would not refund. I made such a stink in the showroom that they finally refunded & told me to choose something off the showroom floor to shut me up. I took the most expensive kiddie framed art I could find (had to choose from the kiddie store side). My DD got her Jessica Mc Clintock furniture from Aryn Richards (much better price, 4 day delivery) & my DS loves his Harley Davidson painting.
STAY AWAY!!!!
