The playdate from hell!

OMG. I feel like not many people understand what my life is like. In June we almost admitted my son to the child psych ward. Every single day is a struggle.

Anyway, my son has almost no friends. I put him in a scuba class that he did well in. He was given a partner who is also a special needs kid but I dont know his exact diagnosis. Anyway, he was so much like my son - it was a nightmare.

Boys wrestle etc but they would physically be getting too rough with each other numerous times. They had both said bad words. They were fighting over who plays with the dog etc etc etc. I did put my son in a couple time outs. Right before they were leaving my son took the boys scuba mask and threw it in the deep end of the pool. So I told him to go in and get it - which leads to yet another meltdown.

My son goes to jump in and he steps on the ONE piece of cement coping that was loose. The one that we have said time and time again please dont step on. (I know its partly our fault b/c it wasnt done yet, but after the pool COLLAPSING and having 2 leaks this summer... there just hasnt really been time to get everything done) My son is all nasty with me and steps on that piece of coping and jumps in the deep end and the coping falls in!

Now I have to go in and honestly struggle with this piece of cement and almost drown myself (no kidding - it was scary) I didnt know this piece of coping had 2 rusty pieces of metal on the bottom. I cut my hand getting it.

What a NIGHTMARE! I love this kids mom but she wasnt fazed by any of it and wants to plan another play date! Were lucky our boys didnt kill each other!

Now I have to tell my husband when he gets home from taking the other 2 to the aquarium that theres a bigger rip than EVER in the liner!!!!!!

It just NEVER SEEMS TO END!!!!!!!!!
