Every single branch has a Post Master and I hear they make lot's of $$$$.... Now fire them all and have district managers and your good to go... Like one for Suffolk county and one for Nassau and look at all the $$$$ they could save.... And plus drop Saturday delivery service....

sounds like the same issues people have with the superintendents in the school system 
to answer the OP though - doesn't bother me that that it's going up, i'm fine with spending $.46 to send a piece of mail. I don't send large packages with any frequency so other rates going up don't really affect me.

Just looked the pay scale up and found this...
As of November 2009, postmasters with 1 to 4 years experience earn average annual salaries between $33,486 and $55,000. Those with 5 to 9 years experience earn average annual salaries between $54,000 and $75,000 (2).
They also earn bonuses for branch performances and keeping costs down.

It's ridiculous that it keeps going up. Good thing we pay most of our bills online.
I dont get this, everything goes up....gas, food, cable, the list goes on and on and on. Why should the post office be exempt?

So? Everything is increasing. Why is there always a big to do when stamps go up? The post office is a business and their costs go up like everyone else. I agree that 46 cents to mail a letter anywhere in the US is not a bad deal.
