The things people say when your pregnant
"Your face is changing, your having a girl" - My response: Are you telling me I'm growing ugly?
"You sure your pregnant, you barely look pregnant" My response: You do, what's your excuse? (This was the same person from above)
Sometimes I could punch people in the face and not look back!

The things people say when your pregnant
The first time around whenever someone would say that annoying comment- "your face changed, you must be having a girl" Or the classic "it must be a girl, she stole all your beauty" I would always say well at least my face will go back to normal after pregnancy. Your face will always look that way!!! I always got the deer in headlights look, but I didn't care. I swear pregnancy makes you lose your filter; trust me!!

The waddle comment! Someone told me I was waddling at like 16 weeks, which is humorous because I was still pretty tiny
How is waddling a compliment?!

(From mil) : you better be careful and not gain a lot of weight, you got so big already. (I've lost over 15lbs).
Your boobs are huge! How much bigger are they going to get?

When I was 27 weeks pregnant, I went to a friend's baby shower. It was at someone's house. I was sitting in a recliner, and another guest asked me to move so the guest of honor could open gifts.
I was about to move when the person said: Oh, I didn't realize you were pregnant, I thought you had just gotten fat.
Gee, thanks!

I announced in March. Someone responded by saying:
"I thought you were just gaining weight for the winter, but then I saw how much and KNEW you had to be pregnant!"

People are so rude. For me it got worse when the baby was born with the rude comments. I never thought I would want to punch a 76 year old woman in the face before I had my son and got some nasty comments.

"Really? Are you sure you're pregnant? "
That was said the day I gave birth. DS was born at 28 weeks and I was not showing at all and had gained no weight. Oh how I wish for some of these comments. Grass is always greener...
A few days after he was born someone did make a comment that he came early because it was the only way he could get fed. That was incredibly hurtful because I was doing everything I could to eat and just could not gain weight.

I had two odd-ball comments from MEN at my job. Neither i know other than their names..
One asked me when I was due. When I told him next week, he asked "is the baby in position?". Really, that's a bit personal?
The other just asked me if my husband was going to "catch" the baby, while he positioned himself in a football "catch" position.

How exactly are you supposed to respond to something like that? I just looked at him and walked away. I told DH and his response was, well he didn't mean anything by it. Really? Then why say someone is as big as a house. I know I am not, but you know what, it hurts my feelings.
People should only be allowed to say the following to a pregnant woman:
Congratulations
You look great
I am so happy for you and your SO
That's it

This time I've only gained 40 lbs, again mostly in belly
"Your ass was HUGE past time"
"No her ass is huge this time"
"Your hips were out of control!"
"Your hips are so much wider now"
"You've got some child bearing hips!"
"You sure it's not twins? You're Sure?"
"Ugh wow you've got 10 more weeks and it's only getting hotter"
"Ugh pregnant in July!!!"
"I knew you were preg- you were such a b1tch those first few weeks"

Walking down the hallway at work this morning, someone walking towards me said "STOP!!! let me go and sterilize my hands - that baby looks like it's going to fall out at any moment"
I still have 7.5 weeks to go and I don't think I'm that big at all...
