The tissue hoarder, part III
OMG, what is wrong with this child and her unnatural obsession with toilet paper???!!!
I was putting her to bed last night and she insisted on getting some tissues to put in her bed at night. We had a few nights there where this odd behavior disappeared so I, very wrongly, believed we were over this.
So I told her only a little piece Alex, because we don't want to waste toilet paper, which is bad for the environment. Naturally a fight ensued, as the amount I allowed her to take, was, in her 3.5 year old opinion, a "baby piece". Needless to say, after a long tantrum, and ending up with 2 books for bedtime instead of 5 as punishment, I kissed her goodnight and went on my merry way.
I went downstairs, watched a little TV, and checked on her about 45 minutes later before I went to bed. That little defiant devil must have snuck out of her bed again and taken more toilet paper, against my specific orders which knowingly caused her to lose 3 books at bedtime, because when I went to check in on her, the three little pieces of toilet paper I allowed her to take were replaced with about HALF A ROLL of toilet paper, all ripped up in her bed into little pieces, scattered all around her snoring, snug little head!
Part of me was absolutely FURIOUS, and part of me was

Re: The tissue hoarder, part III
I asked, Alex, did you sneak out of your bed and take more toilet paper after I told you no? And she just smirked, jumped into bed and gave me a big hug and kiss and said good morning mommy, I love you!
Now how is a mom supposed to get mad at that???
